Enhance your games: nHancer
There is a lot of 3D games out there, and typically most PC games allow you to tweak the graphical settings. While most of them give you a good range on those tweaks, some of them aren’t fully developed. Missing AA settings, anisotropic filtering, etc. Some allows you to tweak by modifying the config files. But the game can still be pushed further.
That’s where nHancer comes in.
DirectX 10, on XP?
A few months ago, I’ve found a site that claims to make our wishes true: DirectX 10 for Windows XP.
This is not about the Alky Project, where promises made just to keep us waiting without bearing any fruit. There isn’t any updates to begin with anyways. For me, the Alky Project is long DEAD. For those who don’t know, Microsoft decided not to include DirectX 10 in Windows XP, as an attempt to encourage people to use Vista. Windows XP can only go as far as DirectX 9c, and nowhere beyond that.

Is your PC safe? (part 1)
Many times I’ve stumbled upon a PC which contains lots of malware inside. Lots of people complain that their PCs are getting slow and shows weird symptoms. When I do some inspection, I often find that these people didn’t get the safety protocol right. No antivirus, outdated virus definitions, didn’t update the operating system, no anti-spyware, etc. etc.
